A  rapid and excellent visualization which allows wonderful presentations in real time isn’t for me enough.
I use BIM (Building Informating Modeling) Method in my interior design workflow not only for his benefits about presentation.  I've many data to manage for the whole process -also constructing and managing the building- and the software I use is based on the value of the data. I available of  different schedules for the quantity control in model I created. The model is a really simulation of the reality.
In the model I can open a window for ever object, a lighting for example or a bathtub, and I can have in real time all the informations about that lighting so in ever moment of the design workflow I can print a schedule of one or more objects -lightings, doors, furniture and so- with all the data, as the cost, the dimensions, the link of the brand, the way to manage it, the number code to send the package on the site and
all others parameters I think are important for our workflow.
An other important benefit of BIM is better work sharing and collaboration among architects,
structural, electrical/plumbing engineers  and other consultants
